A pickup truck and an SUV collided at the intersection of Iowa Highway 141 and First Avenue about 6:15 p.m. Monday.
One of the victims was complaining of chest pain, according to public safety radio traffic. The Dallas County EMS has been paged to the scene.
The Perry Police Department is investigating the mishap.
Both vehicles came to rest in the center of the intersection and pointing westerly.
The Perry First Responders and Perry Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
