No one was injured when a plane crashed Sunday night near Black’s corner in central Dallas County.
The crop-dusting plane crash landed about 7:15 p.m. in a farm field in the 24800 block of U.S. Highway 169 (N Avenue), just south of the runway for Husband Field-39IA.
The pilot was able to walk aware from the crash site, according to public safety radio traffic. The pilot was examined at the scene by Dallas County EMS but declined transportation.
The cause of the crash in unknown at this hour.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office responded and alerted the Federal Aviation Administration, according to public safety radio traffic.
