A three-vehicle mishap shortly before noon Saturday at the intersection of Iowa Highway 141 and Willis Avenue led to the transport of at least one injured motorist to the Dallas County Hospital in Perry.
The Perry Police Department, Perry First Responders, Perry Volunteer Fire Department, Dallas County Sheriff’s office and Dallas County EMS responded to the incident at the busy intersection on the city’s east side.
The collision appeared to involved two pickup trucks and one passenger car. Reduced visibility due to midday rains was possibly a factor.
Details of the mishap are uncertain at this hour pending investigation by law enforcement.
