The Perry Kiwanis Club hosted member Mark Powell at its Tuesday, June 2 meeting. Powell, a Kiwanian since 2007, spoke to the group about collaborative family law.
According to the Collaborative Family Law Institute, “Collaborative divorce is a voluntary process in which couples, with the assistance of collaboratively trained professionals, work toward reaching a settlement on fair and equitable terms without the financial and emotional cost that often accompanies litigation.”
