Cheri Delay of Jefferson, with 25 years of direct-sales experience to draw on, knows a good sales day when she sees one, and Wednesday’s Premier Designs jewelry sale at the Dallas County Hospital was a good sales day.
Delay has been selling jewelry for Premier Designs for nearly 15 years, she said. The event was one of the monthly fundraisers hosted at the hospital on behalf of the Dallas County Hospital Foundation.
“We raised about $135 today for the auxiliary,” Delay said, “and that’s very good for this event.”
Kari Severson of Granger, DCH laboratory manager, indulged herself with a little touch of tinsel.
“It’s for a good cause,” Severson said. “They always seem to have some little thing or other that catches my eye.”
Delay said she passes through Perry about once a year. While her goods were extensive, covering two large display tables, she said she’s “been doing this so long that I can have this stuff packed up before you know it.”
