Pruitt joins ranks of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society

Kayla Pruitt of Perry was recently inducted into the Beta Epsilon Eta Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) International Honor Society. Pruitt is a student at DMACC.

Kayla Pruitt of Perry, a student at the Ankeny campus of the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), was recently inducted into the Beta Epsilon Eta Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) International Honor Society.

Pruitt was one of 42 DMACC students attending the induction ceremony on the DMACC Ankeny Campus. In order to be eligible for the honor, a student must be enrolled in a two-year college, have completed at least 12 hours of coursework in an associate degree program and have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

PTK has been recognizing and rewarding academic excellence in two-year colleges since 1918.
