The 47th annual RAGBRAI river-to-river mass bike ride passed through Dallas County Monday on its second leg from Atlantic to Winterset. Dexter residents greeted the riders, who enjoyed milder temperatures and drier conditions than Sunday’s ride offered.
Winterset offered lodging for the cyclists, with the Madison County Courthouse square the site of many pleasant diversions at the end of the 70-mile day.
The RAGBRAI ride travels to Indianola via Norwalk Tuesday.
