Rapid-fire wit shines in ‘Altar Egos’ dress rehearsal

It was a senior moment when graduating students in the cast and crew of "Altar Egos" took a bow at their March 31 dress rehearsal at the Perry Performing Arts Center. PHS seniors include, from left, Alexia Vell, Taylor Anderson, Christopher Benjamin, Kelly Wilhelmi, Sabrina Sweet, Gabi Huntington, Madison Thompson, Sierra Coleman, Keegan Wolfe, Christian Loaiza, Dylan Pratt, Cameron Martinez and Paige Gilmore. The spring production of "Altar Egos" will be staged April 10 and 11.

Tuesday night’s dress rehearsal of the Perry High School Drama Department’s spring production of Pat Cook’s “Altar Egos (The I Do’s and Don’ts of an American Wedding)” went off without–and with–a hitch.

The romantic comedy is about the stresses and strains of “planning and executing,” as Aunt Pam puts it, a modern American wedding.

Tickets for the April 10 and 11 performances may be purchased at the Perry High School office or at the door. Admission is $3 for students $3 and $5 for adults. Both performances begin at 7 p.m. A dress rehearsal is also scheduled for March 31 at 7 p.m
