Several bales of green hay caught fire late Wednesday afternoon about one mile east of Linden, near 270th Street at Beaumont Avenue, bringing three trucks from the Redfield Volunteer Fire Department to the scene.
There were no injuries in the incident, and the cause of the fire is unknown at this hour.
