A report of smoke at the McDonald's restaurant in Perry about 10:15 p,m, Wednesday brogught the Perry Volunteer Fire Department to the scene, where the source of the smoke was sought.

The Perry Volunteer Fire Department responded about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday to a report of smokle from an electrical fire at the McDonald’s restaurant at 305 First Ave. in Perry.

There were no injuries in the incident.

Staffmembers at the fastfood business reported the fire under control prior to the arrival of the firefighters, who then proceeded to the scene under non-emergent status.

The cause of the smoking in the rear of the store is unknown at this hour.
