Disposers of yard waste and other visitors to the Perry Yard Waste Disposal Site will see two piles at the site, both in English only. A sign by one pile reads, "Yard and garden waste: Leaves, grass, garden waste accepted. Biodegradable bags accepted. No plastic bags." A sign reading, "Brush and branches up to 6 inches in diameter not longer than 8 feet long," is seen at the second pile.

Operations at the Perry Yard Waste Disposal Site, which recently reopened as a courtesy to Perry residents only at 14325 Ivy Place, have so far run smoothly, according to city authorities.

The disposal area is located just west of the Garbage Department Shop, the Recycling Center and the city dog pound. The site is for the use of Perry residents only. Non-resident and commercial use of the site is prohibited.
