Ricci Owens, 62, of Jamaica passed away Monday, May 14, 2018, at his home in Jamaica, Iowa.
A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be at a later date at the Leon Cemetery in Leon, Iowa.

Ricci Dee Owens was born Nov. 21, 1955, in Perry, Iowa, to Ernest and Mary Louise (Purdue) Owens.
He attended school at Perry High School.
Riccie worked for many years at Asgrow Seeds in Perry.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching Hawkeye Football, morel mushroom hunting and going camping.
In death he rejoins his parents, Ernest and Mary Owens; siblings, Ronald Owens, Robert Dean Sheldahl, Rose Ann Phipps, Roberta Lee and Raymond Owens.
Left to cherish Ricci’s memory are his son, Anthony Owens of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; and a sister, Reva Owens of Perry.
