Graveside memorial services for Richard Allen Walker, 87, of Denison and formerly of Perry and Jamaica will be held Saturday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. at the Richland Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside service.
Richard passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019, at Eventide Lutheran Home in Denison.
Richard is survived by his wife, Donna (Shaffer) Walker of Denison; sons, David Walker of Woodbine, Iowa, and Drew Walker of Plainfield, Ill.; daughters, Denise Davis of Kansas City, Mo., and Debra Wingert of Denison; one brother, Robert Walker of Cedar Rapids; one sister, Beverly Whiton of Perry; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Richard’s name will be directed to the Jamaica Community Center and may be sent to Murdock Funeral Home in Perry.
