Richard Judd, 95, of Perry passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the Perry Lutheran Homes Kings Garden Campus in Perry, Iowa. Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 18 from 5-7 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. A private family burial will take place at the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry.
Richard Keith Judd was born Dec. 29, 1926, in Perry to Corwin K. and Daisy L. (Kinder) Judd.
He attended school in Chicago and Santa Monica, California.
Dick served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was united in marriage to Joyce Ann Walker in 1951.
Dick worked for the Milwaukee Railroad, retiring in 1982.
He was a member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge and enjoyed playing golf and softball, reading, bowling, fishing and dancing.
In death Dick rejoins his parents, Corwin and Daisy Judd; and a brother, Robert Judd.
Left to cherish Dick’s memory are his son, Montie (Roberta) Judd of Ankeny; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
