The Rippey United Methodist Church held their annual late-summer ice cream social Sunday, Sept. 11.
The menu included a beef burger or ham salad sandwich, a choice of homemade pies, homemade ice cream, coffee, Kool-Aid or water.
Funds raised at the event will be used for church operations and missions, organizers said. The next Rippey Ice Cream Social will be held in early June 2017.
The Rippey event officially ended the ice cream social season. The dinner season also officially began Sunday with the Bayard United Methodist ham ball dinner.
