The Rippey United Methodist Church held their annual June ice cream social Sunday, and the day’s blazing heat drew a large crowd seeking a cool summertime treat.
In exchange for a free-will offering, diners were served beef burgers, homemade ice cream and a choice of homemade pies and cakes.
The next Rippey ice cream social is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 11.
