Robert “Bob” Schuhardt of Olpe, Kan., died May 6, 2015, at Newman Regional Health in Emporia, Kan. He was 87.
A memorial service was held Friday, May 8, at Charter Funeral Home in Emporia, with the family receiving guests from 6-8 p.m.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Nov. 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry.
Bob was born Friday, Aug. 3, 1928, in Perry to Art and Mary (Bender) Schuhardt.
He farmed in Perry until he retired and moved to Olpe.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Art; and his wife, Edith.
He is survived by his sons, Jim (Diana) Schuhardt of Emporia and Richard (Marilyn) Bryant of Berkley, Iowa; daughter, Roberta “Bert” (Gary) Stiller of Joliet, Ill.; brother, Bill (Hazel) Schuhardt of Perry; seven grandchildren, Wendy, Jo Ellen, Tiffany, Nikki, Jamie, Krystal and Daisy; 20 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Emporia Senior Center.
