Funeral services for Robert “Sonny” Johnson, 86, of Berkley will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7 at the Hastings Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6 at the funeral home, with family present from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry.
Sonny died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020, at MercyOne Hospice in Johnston, Iowa.
Sonny is survived by his daughter, Sheila (Duane) Hilsenbeck of Ogden; sons, Robert “Wolfie” Johnson Jr. of Angus and Daniel “Dan” (Cindy) Johnson of Berkley; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be left or sent to the funeral home for the family’s later designation. Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements.
