Thursday's trip began in Cedar Falls and ended in Hiawatha, a journey covered 70.9 miles. Hills -- as seen here -- are always a challenge, and riders were forced to climb a total of 2,377 feet along the way.

Perry’s Shannon Cline spent Wednesday and Thursday riding RAGBRAI with Sam Courtney, an old high school friend from Decorah.

Wednesday’s ride started in Eldora and finished in Cedar Falls, traveling 58.4 miles with 1,644 feet of total climb. On Thursday riders biked 70.9 miles to Hiawatha, enduring 2,377 feet of climbs.

Friday’s trip to Coralville covers 65.6 miles and 2,955 feet of climb, with the annual event ending Saturday in Davenport after a final leg of 68.5 miles that will include 1,711 of climb.

Contacted late Wednesday by ThePerryNews.com, Cline was kind enough to send along the photos seen here, a photo log of his Thursday on two wheels.
