WINTERSET — The new wrestling season began Thursday for Perry, with an inexperienced Bluejay squad suffering rough treatment at the hands of Creston/Orient-Macksburg and host Winterset.

C/O-M was a 72-6 victor over Perry, with the host Huskies tallying a 75-5 win over the Bluejays.

Perry left the 106, 145 and 195 pound spots open against both foes, with 10 Bluejays competing twice but unable to collect a victory.
