The Easter week "round up" at the Perry Fareway supports PACES, which offers academic and cultural enrichment for some of the Perry school system's most deserving children.

Customers at the Fareway store in Perry will be rounding up their purchases during Easter week, March 26-31, in support of the PACES program at the Perry schools.

PACES stands for Perry’s Academic, Cultural and Enrichment Services. Now in its 19th year under the direction of Mary Hillman, the before- and after-school learning center provides programming for pre-kindergarten through fifth graders

“When you buy your groceries this week at Fareway, you can ’round up’ to the nearest dollar or more,” Hillman said. “That money will do directly to PACES, so with Easter this week, please support PACES by shopping at Fareway.”

PACES Director Mary Hillman, left, Fareway Manager Travis Landgrebe, right, are teaming up again this Easter week to help support the before- and after-school programs for Perry students.
