Santa Claus greeted local youngsters at the McCreary Community Building Saturday morning, but his lap was less full than expected because inclement weather forced the cancelation of the home swim meet, hosted by the Perry Area Winter Swimming (PAWS) league.
Perry Finance Officer Susie Stoner Moorhead, a longtime fan of Santa Claus, was on hand to greet the families.
Santa could see some dense fog Saturday night and Sunday morning if he is traveling, so Rudolph will be in the lead.
