Memorial Services for Sarah Gittins, 83, of Perry will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 at the First Christian Church in Perry. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service, also at the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Violet Hill Cemetery.
Memorials will be directed to Hospice of Central Iowa or the Perry Food Pantry and may be left or sent to Murdock Funeral Home.
Sarah passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, at the Dallas County Hospital.
Survivors include three sons, Bob (Margaret) Gittins of Perry, Rod (Penny) Gittins of Perry and John (Jeanne) Gittins of Waukee; one daughter, Jane (Chuck) Hilsenbeck of Perry; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Hugs to all the family. Sarah was a great lady, also very helpful, and a great role model. I remember her and her husband from church events, and we also live right up the road from her.
