This quintet stopped just long enough for a quick photo after an energetic round of dancing in front of the DJ's table at last year's Daddy-Daughter Dance.

Perry poppas and their princesses will cut the rug at the annual Daddy-Daughter Dance Saturday, Feb. 8 from 6-8 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Perry Elementary School.

The event in sponsored by the Perry Junior Class Prom Committee.

Pre-K through fifth grade young misses and their proud escorts will be admitted for $10 at the door. Proceeds will be used for the upcoming PHS prom. Refreshments will be available.

Dance contests will be staged, with Limbo and Hulu Hoop competitions for the dads and daughters and prizes for the winners.

Musical entertainment will be provided by local Bluejay supporter Gary Iles.

All proceeds are helping raise money for the 2020 Prom scheduled for May 2nd!

Also available for purchase will be photos, carnations, glow necklaces and a cake walk. Attendees are asked to park in the rear lot behind the school and enter through the rear door.

Anyone wishing to donate baked goods for the Cake Walk or concessions should call Kelly Whiton at 515-802-1983.
