ADEL, Iowa — A school bus from the Adel-De Soto-Minburn Community School District collided with a Nissan pickup truck at the intersection of Nile Kinnick Drive S. (U.S. Highway 169) and Greene Street (U.S. Highway 6) in Adel Friday afternoon.
No injuries were reported in the mishap, which occurred about 1:15 p.m.
The cause of the accident is under investigation at this hour.
The bus appeared to sustain significant front-end damage in the collision, and the truck received serious passenger-side damage.
The Adel Police Department, Dallas County Sheriff’s office and Dallas County EMS responded.
