A semi-tractor trailer traveling southbound in the 21500 block of U.S. Highway 169 (N Avenue) made an emergency stop shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday after sustaining a flat tire.
There were no injuries.
The material hauler was able to pull off the roadway and onto the steep west shoulder of N Avenue, having left a trail of tire debris in its wake.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office responded.
