Sen. Ernst hosts Perry Skills USA delegation in Washington, D.C.

The 2016 Skills USA National Leadership Conference was held in Washington, D.C. last week, and the Perry delegation was welcomed to Capitol Hill by U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst.

Iowa State Officers T. J. Sheehy, Devin Patrick and Sadee Whitfield attended along with Perry High School Skills USA Adviser Curt Cornelius.

  1. Such a waste! As dedicated and as hardworking as these young people evidently were, they deserve better as the reward and culmination of their struggles. I’m inclined to think being photographed with this person was just part of some assignment they had to do and not their choice. I have all the respect and admiration for these young folks. I have nothing but utter contempt for both U.S. Senators from the State of Iowa.
