A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 7 a.m. Tuesday for Dallas County, the National Weather Service office in Des Moines has announced shortley before midnight Monday.
High winds and quarter-size hail are forecast.
Along wth Dallas County, 60 other Iowa counties are included in the severe thunderstorm watch.
