Sharon Jo Easter, 74, of Perry passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, at the Aspire of Perry in Perry, Iowa. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Sharon was born March 7, 1950, in Imperial, Nebraska, to William Jester and Ada (North) Kulla.

She graduated from Carlisle High School in 1968.

A talented and creative soul, Sharon had a deep love for art, crafts and drawing. She was incredibly artistic and enjoyed expressing herself through various creative outlets.

In her younger years, she loved spending time outdoors, camping and fishing.

She also had an eye for antiques and collected brass keys.

Known for her kind and loving nature, Sharon cherished her family above all else. Her children were her world.

She is survived by her children, Kari Lynn Easter of Des Moines, Crystal Ann Easter of Des Moines and Nickolus Eugene Watson of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, Nikolette Jo Baker of Des Moines, Drew Stott of Waukee, Alicia Marie Jo Stott of West Des Moines, Maria Watson of Omaha, Matthew Watson of Omaha, Marshall Watson of Omaha, Mckenna Denemark, Macy Lynam and Kameron Lynam; great-grandson, Kingston Easter Harris; siblings, Sheila Nagel of Dallas Center, Sherry (Steven) Porter of Des Moines, Sharlene (Alan) Stashl of Baldwin and David (Michelle) Kulla of Avon; brother-in-law, Larry Book of Perry; along with many other relatives and friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, William Jester and Ada Kulla; and her sisters, Shirley Book and Sheryl Palmer.
