Sharon Marie Bricker, 76, of Perry passed away peacefully at her home April 16, 2025.
A visitation for family and friends will take place on Sunday, April 27 from 12-2 p.m. at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home-Perry Chapel.
Sharon was born on Nov. 7, 1948, in Mahnomen, Minnesota, to Marvin and Bertha (Smithson) Neuhalfen.
She was united in marriage to Phillip Bricker on April 29, 1995, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.
Sharon devoted 25 years to the bakery at Hy-Vee in Perry, where she was admired for her strong work ethic, warm personality and genuine care for those around her.
She had a special love for her cats, who brought her comfort and companionship throughout the years.
Sharon also found joy in tending to her flowers, taking pride in her garden and finding peace in the simple beauty of nature.
More than anything, Sharon’s heart belonged to her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and her life was centered around the people she loved most. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by her loved ones.
She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Phillip Bricker of Perry; her children, Will Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mark Wilson of Perry and Brandy Wilson of Iowa City; grandchildren, Jaisa, Justice, Hunter, Sierra, Nikita, Tyler, Bryant and Jayda; four great-grandchildren; her brother, Roger (Jackie) Neuhalfen of Perry; and sisters, Lois Hart of Sydney, Nebraska, Gwen Harding of Las Vegas and Barb Olson of Ankeny. She is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Bertha Neuhalfen; and her brothers-in-law, George Hart, Arvis Harding and Donnie Olson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family, to be designated at a later date in Sharon’s honor. Condolences may be shared online at www.caldwellparrish.com.
