Sharon Seeman, 71, of Woodward passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019, at her home in Woodward, Iowa, surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be on Tuesday July 23, 2019 from 6-8 with a rosary at 8:00 p.m. at the Granger Community Center. A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, July 24 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Malachy’s Catholic Church in Madrid. Burial will be at the Woodward Cemetery in Woodward at a later date.

Memorials will be given to Sharon’s family. Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care assisted Sharon’s family with cremation rites. Online condolences may be sent at www.carrisfuneralhome.com.

Sharon Louise Seeman was born March 27, 1948, in Perry, Iowa, to Eckhart Henry and Mamie Mae (Frisbie) Greif.

She attended the Woodward High School.

Sharon was united in marriage to Francis Henry Seeman at Granger Assumption Catholic Church June 22, 1968.

She was a member of the St. Malachy’s Catholic Church and the Woodward Women’s Get Together Club.

She enjoyed camping and playing cards at Cutty’s, wintering in Texas, Solitaire, watching old westerns and getting together with her family.

In death she rejoins her parents, Eckhart and Mamie Greif; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hansie and Rita Seeman; brothers-in-law, Jim and Dan Seeman; sisters-in-law, Maggie Waldburger and Mary Lu Reichenbach; and all those family members who left this earth before her.

Left to cherish Sharon’s memory are her husband, Francis Seeman of Woodward; children, Theresa (Brian) Hotchkiss of Woodward, Lisa (J. R.) Keller of Madrid, Patty (Jerry) Reisenauer of Kuna, Idaho, Becky Larson of Woodward and Joann (Troy) Seeman Smith of Granger; grandchildren, Aimee and Micheal Jacobson, Ariana, Holly, Morgan, Henry, Nora and Levi Reisenauer, Colton and Mason Larson, Adalyn and Emma Smith and Levi Hotchkiss; and many aunts; uncles; and cousins.
