The Showtime Dance and Tumbling Studio’s 34th annual spring recital was held Saturday evening in the National Guard Armory in Perry, with hundreds of family and friends attending.

More than 50 students performed 26 numbers in the two-hour show, with performances led by seniors Eliza Cunningham, Brooklyn Dakoter, Libby Hastings, Aubree Whitfield Tasler, Avery Tiernan, Cindy Truong and Quinn Whiton.

The young dancers and tumblers celebrated the apparent waning of the novel coronavirus global pandemic in Iowa, which caused last year’s recital to be held outdoors in scorching July heat.
