Pastor Charlene Wolfe of the First United Methodist Church in Yale provided words of comfort. The recorded song was “Borrowed Angels” by Kristin Chenweth. Casket bearers were Skyler’s brothers, Ayden and Lukas. Interment took place at Richland Township Cemetery in Bagley. Following the service at the cemetery, a luncheon was served at the Yale Community Center.
Skyler was 15.5 inches long and weighed 1 pound, 12 ounces. Skyler Owen Mundt, infant son of Jacob Mundt and Misti Mast, was born April 3, 2015 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, and died that day.
Skyler was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Delmar and Loyola Mundt. Skyler will always be in the hearts of his parents, Jacob Mundt and Misti Mast, of Yale; brothers Ayden and Lukas; grandparents, Lisa and Todd Frambs of Townsend, Wis., Alan and JoAnn Mundt of Dawson and Janice Crawley of Dawson; great-grandparents, Myrna Wagner of Blair, Neb., Levi Mast of Waterloo and Bill and Rosanna Morrow of Newell, Iowa; and other relatives.
