A Mitsubishi Lancer collided head on with an Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) snow plow shortly after 4 p.m. Monday on Iowa Highway 141 near I Court.
Perry Police and Perry First Responders were first on the scene, with agents of the Perry Volunteer Fire Department, Dallas County Sheriff’s office and Dallas County EMS assisting.
The circumstances of the collision and extent of injuries, if any, are unknown at this hour. The DOT vehicle appeared to be eastbound on Iowa Highway 141 when the incident occurred.
Snow and ice have caused numerous accidents in the Perry area and around Dallas County Monday afternoon.
