
The proof was in the poof at Sunday’s annual Powderpuff football game at Wiese Park, the traditional start of Homecoming Week for all four classes at Perry High School.
Perfect fall weather saw the sophomore class take first place in the gender-inclusive contest, with the seniors capturing second, the juniors third and the freshmen in fourth place.
The Bluejay football team will play the Nevada High School Cubs Friday night at Dewey Field. Wednesday will bring a host of Homecoming activities to Perry, including Volunteer Day, the Homecoming Parade and the coronation of the Homecoming Queen and King.
