The Perry Chamber of Commerce will sponsor an after-hours shopping experience at a dozen Perry businesses Friday, Sept. 27 from 4-7 p.m. as a way to kick-off the fall spending season.
Consumer spending accounts for two-thirds of U.S. gross domestic product, and there is no better way to show your love for America’s local economy than by shopping the new fall arrivals while sipping complimentary refreshments at Ben’s Five and Dime and Harper Rose’s Floral and Gift, which advertise in ThePerryNews.com, and at nine other unique local retail sites.
The beverages and in-store offerings will “vary per location,” according to the Perry Chamber, and the fun will continue over the weekend with other downtown activities.
“We’re very excited,” said a Chamber spokesperson. “It’s all about supporting our locally owned businesses.”
