The Spring Valley campus of the Perry Lutheran Homes was the scene Thursday for judging the annual wreath-making contest, and the entrants and their makers were as merry as the season.
Patricia “Pat” Siglin carried off the palm in the Overall Winner category, with Verla Ridnour taking honors in the Theme Winner category and Lois Weisler capturing the Color Winner prize.
Celebrity judges for the festive event were Perry Mayor John Andorf, Perry Community School District Board of Directors Vice President Linda Andorf and Perry Community School District Superintendent Clark Wicks.
