The Rev. Luis Mejia, left, priest at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Perry, and Kandice Roethler, principal of St. Patrick School distributed eggs and chicken Wednesday and will host a drive-by parade Tuesday.

Tuesday, April 7 at 3:00 Saint Patrick Catholic School will stage a car line parade Tuesday, April 7 at 3 p.m.

“Teachers will be outside of the school just as we would be for pick-up and drop-off to share with our students how much we miss them,” said St. Pat’s Principal Kandice Roethler.

Parents are asked to drive by the school — but please do not stop — on Lucinda Street starting at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Roethler was joined by the Rev. Luis Mejia Wednesday to hand out 20-pound boxes of chicken and eggs to families in need during the viral closure.

“This is just another reminder of our family and faith in action,” Roethler said. “We are all stronger together and will come out better in the end!”

Family-style to-go meals are available for pick up at the school each weekday from 10:30 a.m. until noon.
