St. Patrick’s school in Perry will be hosting Children’s Day (Día del Niño) Saturday at their gym from 1-4 p.m.
Intended to call attention to the importance of children in society and to promote their well-being, Children’s Day is observed in many countries around the world.
Activities for all include face-painting, bounce houses, a donut – eating contest, musical chairs, Mexican BINGO, pinatas and Silly Sally the Balloon Twister Lady. The Perry Public Library, Blank Park Zoo, and others will also be involved.
This event is open to the public. Admission is $5 for children aged 3 and over, with adults free. A $15 family pass will also be available.
