St. Patrick’s School in Perry placed third among the 10 schools participating recently in the Des Moines Diocese Science Bowl.
The St. Pat’s contingent included the school’s eighth grade class and one seventh grader, Riese Archer.
“There were 10 schools from the Diocese that were there, and our students took third place,” said Rachel Knudtson, a teacher at the Perry school. “They all got medals for their accomplishment.”
