DES MOINES — Class 3A Perry and Class 2A Panorama and Woodward-Granger will both compete in the afternoon sessions of the State Track Meet Thursday and Friday at Drake Stadium. Four events are assured of competing Saturday morning, with the potential for five others to take to the track later Saturday.
Following are the daily schedules and heat/lane assignments for each event for the three schools. Relay members, as well as potential alternates for each, are listed. Times are approximate, with state officials assuring no event will start sooner than 15 minutes before the listed time in the event the meet runs ahead of schedule.
Class 2A will compete first in each event, girls followed by boys. For example, the 400 meter finals begin Thursday at 7 p.m. The order will be girls/boys 2A followed by girls/boys 3A. Not all events are held consecutively, so please refer to the state meet schedule.
