Steven Paul Struve, 72, of Woodward passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at his home
under hospice care with his children by his side in Woodward, Iowa.
Steve Struve, son of Paul and Beverly (Wilson) Struve, was born July 30, 1951, in Perry, Iowa.
Steve graduated from Woodward-Granger High School with the class of 1969. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served on a submarine.
Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening and was a lifelong Woodward resident.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Paul, and mother, Beverly.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy Kimrey; children, Marianna (Michael) Kerley, Stephanie (Steve) Windom, Michelle Yakel and Nathan (Nicole) Struve; 15 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Steve will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5 at the Peoples Cemetery in Woodward, Iowa.
