Steven Carlson, 59, of West Des Moines passed away Oct. 23, 2016.
A celebration of life will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines Friday, Oct. 28, with visitation from 4-7 p.m. and the memorial service at 7 p.m.
Steven was a diehard Seattle Seahawks fan, a collector of sports memorabilia and a lover of music and history. He was a beloved husband and a loving father and grandfather. His family always came first.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 39 years, LeaAnn Carlson; children, Will Carlson, Lindsey Carlson, Amber (Andrea) Johnston and Stephanie (Josey) Galivan; grandchildren, Riley, Macie, Dylan, Sydney, Wyatt and Talya; his siblings, Kathy Stodgel, Bob and David Carlson; and many extended family and friends.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, John and Wanda Carlson; and brother, Bill Carlson.
