Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements for Sue Hertz, 79, of Dallas Center. Mrs. Hertz died at her home Sunday, April 1, 2018.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 8 at Hastings Funeral Home of Perry. Visitation with viewing will be after 1 p.m. Saturday, April 7 also at the funeral home, with her family present from 4-6 p.m. Burial will be Monday at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.
Mrs. Hertz is survived by her husband, Marvin Lee Hertz I of Dallas Center; son, Marvin Lee Hertz II of Des Moines; daughters, Regena Ellen (Scott) Jimenez of Dallas Center and Rachele Denise (Mike) Kugel of Des Moines and Indianapolis, Ind.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Joseph E. (Marie) Duncan of Valley Springs, Calif.
