Any and all Perry students are welcome to attend a summer of strength, conditioning, and training at the high school. There is no cost to attend.
Students in grades 9-12 meet from 6:30-8 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with grades 6-8 gathering from 8:15-9 a.m. Monday and Wednesday.
The high schoolers will focus on strength training, conditioning, speed and agility, form running, and hip/ankle mobility, while the middle school students will work on weight lifting techniques, conditioning, speed and agility and form running.
Grades 3-5 will come together 5:30-6 p.m. Wednesday to work on basic training movements, speed and agility and form running. Those in grades 3-6 can walk over the PHS practice field for football skills training and conditioning, which will begin at 6 p.m. and end sometime after 7 p.m. Youth are asked to wear cleats and bring their own bottle of water.
All above activities are free to attend and will be held through the end of July.
