Kathryn Mary Stock, 19, of Boone, left, and Anthony Jordan Stewart, 20, of Jamaica were arrested Thursday and charged with third-degree burglary in connection with the theft of property Wednesday from a garage in Woodward.

Officers of the Woodward Police Department arrested two people Thursday in connection with a garage burglary Wednesday.

Anthony Jordan Stewart, 20, of Jamaica and Kathryn Mary Stock, 19, of Boone were located at a homeless shelter in Boone and interviewed before being taken into custody without incident, according to Woodward Police Chief Joe Cox.

Cox said several vehicles were also ransacked at the garage, and some of the missing items were found in the possession of Stewart and Stock.

Cox and Woodward Police Reserve Officer Chris Sprott traced the suspects to Boone after checking a location in Jamaica, the police chief said.

Stewart and Stock were each charged with third-degree burglary and are being held in the Dallas County Jail on $5,000 bond.
