A one-vehicle rollover on Iowa Highway 141 Monday afternoon left a motorist trapped until released by emergency service personnel.
The SUV left the roadway about 3:40 p.m. and came to rest beside the northbound curve of Iowa Highway 141, where it merges with Iowa Highway 4. The accident occurred about midway between Jamaica and Bagley in Guthrie County.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this hour as is the number of occupants in the overturned vehicle and the extent of injuries, if any.
Responding to the incident were the Iowa State Patrol, Guthrie County Sheriff’s office, Guthrie County EMS and the fire departments of Yale, Jamaica, Bagley and Panora.
