SUVs collide on gravel south of Perry Sunday

A Ford SUV sustained extensive front-end damage, and its airbags deployed, in a two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon in rural Perry.

Two SUVs collided at the intersection of two gravel roads south of Perry early Sunday afternoon.

No injuries were reported.

The crash was reported about 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of 190th Street and I Avenue.

A Ford SUV sustained extensive front-end damage in the collision, and its airbags deployed. The vehicle came to rest in the intersection.

A Kia SUV came to rest in the south ditch of 190th Street, with damage apparent on the driver’s side.

The Iowa State Patrol, Dallas County Sheriff’s office, Perry First Responders, Perry Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS responded.
