The First Christian Church postponed their Easter egg hunt this week because of unusual but predictable Iowa weather. This annual event will now take place next Wednesday, April 17, adding this to other Holy Week activities and services for the week.
You are invited to join us at the First Christian Church, 1224 Lucinda St. for any or all of the following Holy week services and activities:
- Sunday, April 14 – Palm Sunday worship 10:30 a.m.
- Wednesday, April 17 – EDGE egg hunt at 6:30 p.m.
- Thursday, April 18 – Maundy Thursday service at the First Presbyterian Church at 7 p.m.
- Friday, April 19 – Good Friday service at the First Christian Church at 7 p.m.
- Sunday, April 21 – Easter morning worship at 10:30 a.m.
Holy week reminds us first that the end of what the disciples had been living for three years was coming to an end but something new, different and exciting was about to begin!
