Three chances left to donate blood in June

Perry-area blood donors have three chances left in June to give blood at a LifeServe Blood Center in order to help patients in local hospitals. Blood donated with LifeServe stays in your neighborhood. LifeServe doesn’t collect blood in a community unless that blood will help the local medical center or hospital.

Current blood donors and brand new blood donors impact three lives with just one donation. Your blood donation helps your hospital and your neighbors. You must make an appointment in order to donate:

  • Redfield Community Blood Drive, Tuesday, June 22 from 3-7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall at 1116 Thomas St.
  • Shae Bernhardt Scholarship Blood Drive, Saturday, June 26 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Van Meter High School at 520 First Ave.
  • Minburn Community Blood Drive, Monday, June 28 from 2:30-6:30 p.m. at the Minburn United Methodist Church at 705 Chestnut St.

Schedule a blood donation appointment online at lifeservebloodcenter.org or call 800-287-4903.
